Dr. Fotovat, Dr. Sands and their friendly team, love to meet new people.\u00a0 We want you to feel comfortable and to know what to expect the very first time that you come into our office.\u00a0 We recognize that today\u2019s families are busy with multiple activities and schedules, and we want to make sure that your visit at our office is as informative and helpful as possible.\u00a0 By the end of your first visit, these key questions should be answered:<\/p>\n

1- Do you need orthodontic treatment?
\n2- What treatment options are available to you?
\n3- How long is the treatment going to be?
\n4- How much will the treatment cost?<\/p>\n

When you first arrive at our office, please say \u201chello\u201d to our receptionists.\u00a0 They will be waiting for you and will be happy to help you begin the new patient orientation and consultation. Please take the time to fill out the\u00a0new patient form<\/u><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>which is available on our website or in the packet sent to you.\u00a0 By completing the form prior to your arrival we can help begin your first visit without delay.\u00a0 Our front office receptionist will ask you for this form so that they can start the new patient consultation process.\u00a0 Our treatment coordinator will greet you and give you a brief tour of our office.\u00a0 She will then bring you to the consultation room where she will introduce you to Dr. Fotovat or Dr. Sands.\u00a0 The doctor will perform a complete clinical examination of your (or your child\u2019s) facial and dental structures.\u00a0 He will then go over the orthodontic problems that he sees, the recommended treatment and different options that are suitable for you.\u00a0 He will also let you know the length of treatment and make recommendations as to the best time to begin.\u00a0 When the doctor completes his examination, he will be able to answer any questions you may have relating to the recommended treatment. The treatment coordinator will review the doctor\u2019s recommendations, answer any other questions you may have, and review the fees and payment options available to you.<\/p>\n
